Real opinion on THE INDUSTRY and its deception it has blinded our people with!!!!!!!!!!!!

by smoke.intellect

Ok, now people this might sound like some conspiracy shit but focus up. I’m frustrated and ready to say something.

Now being 18 and somewhat educated it’s clear as day that the music industry is set in place to keep the black community down. Think about it, 80% of the hiphop game is negative sadistic type music because thats what sells. Then you get the minuscule % of blacks the get in the industry and all these white boys tell em’ to do is act like a COON NIGGER and you’ll get paid. But what about the kids and where is our maturity (for people over 18) and determination to get out of the hole that we are in.
What happened to the Malcolm X’s or the poets or the marches. Its crazy hiphop and rap culture has morphed into this world where its ok to believe that you got the short end of the stick in life so just say fuck it since the gov’t did me dirty im gonna and rob, steal, kill. Then if you dont do this your a bitch and your not "REAL" . Believe it or not this is what we think is truely "REAL" because its what has been indoctrinated into us.

Hip hop is my gospel to life and anyone that says its not is not who im talking to, but its time for me to say that enough is enough and we need to fight back and just like Nas said us young warriors need to get together somehow and fight the real enemy which would be the Gov’t, music industry, ect. but not each other. Im going to start small but if your interested i would like to get your e-mails of the willing ones and lets try to start an organization/ group for the cause of betterment of our people. we can at least try! we gotta start somewhere!!!

Unfortunately, people want to hear wanna hear about money, sex, drugs, and violence; not about black power.

Tupac was able to blend them both, but no one has done it like him since. Nas has come close.

True but like they say people will do anything for money… I am not disagreeing with you I actually agree.. But if interscope said they would pay you 5 million for a 8 year contract would you take this?? I mean I probably would because its a lot of money but the thing is you gotta promote what they want they got the image now they need the voice that is where the black community plays their role… Most

industry are pretty much slave owners they command us to do what they want… Some people would kill literally for 10 g’s so many people would take up this contract thinking its a way out that will not be so illegal… The only thing we can do is sit back and hope hip hop changes if it doesnt then we will watch it be destroyed… It is already starting hip hop overplaying autotune, Rock in hip hop, pointless songs with no meaning but a good beat, Money, sex, and violence corruption… Maybe hip hop should die and be born again with a fresh start idk just a thought…

If your going to get a point across in a mature manner please proof read your shit. Your grammar and punctuation is not there. I read two sentences and wanted to poke my eyes out. You have a valid point, but you need to get your shit right if you want to get respected on a higher level by a more mature audience.

Nice Young man, Listen up, this music business foolery has been going on since they create the atonal system of music meaning a very long time. (“They”) use music and popular culture to introduce and undermine cultures with out the culture even knowing. Subconsciously they shape the youth culture into thinking and believing what they want us to believe(e.g having lil wayne promote he’s a pill popping animal, who sips easter pink concoctions, and will kill babies, and supposably is hotter then hell, and cant go to hell because he would take over). Read between the lines. When they say you sell your soul its true." Its easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to walk into the kingdom of heaven"- Matthew 19:24. Thats why they play all that nonsensical music like jay z said to dumb down the masses. If you keep conditioning someone to listen to something wack, knowing that damn this is all im ever going to here you get used to liking the wackness now everything you like is wack its just different degrees of wackness. You either gonna like stanky leg or you gonna like turn my swag on. They are both pretty basic songs, but you prolly like one over the other. So its basically due to conditioning, and you cant get mad at kids in highschool for liking that kind of music, because thats all most of them know.Everyone does not have a computer or have money to buy a cd but most people have minimal access to a transmitter radio source hence Mass Radio. Bottom Line is in Life Theres Good (God) and theres evil (devil), Dont listen to the words look at the actions and you can disseminate. Yes hip hop has been high jacked and not for the better. It was corrupted because this is the best way to subjugate the urban people into the ways of evil doing, which makes a profit for them. God does not put his love into money " I Love Money, Broke aint on my radar"- Gunplay Triple c’s, he puts his love into his people. People put their love into Money and not into God and into People GOD is LOVE.

All I know is that I’ve experienced the greener side of the grass and in their culture do you think that there are people yelling out in songs that “we put pill up bitches asses” and “have hoes give me head like corn on the cob”and therole models for our culture are basically preaching negative things into their heads. We are so far gone as a people that I dont think in my lifetime that I will see real improvement for us because we are so fuckin stuck on stupid. If im full of myself for feeling a certain way then so be it

You act like it’s a giant conspiracy that a bunch of old white dudes sitting around a table in the 80s came up with too bring down black folks. The music started out as simple party music in the bronx, i’m just saying it wasn’t always deep meaning poetic music with a purpose that people like refer to as "real hip hop’. I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that white dudes are telling music industry blacks to act like “COON NIGGERS” but I will say that early childhood we learn by imitation and I agree that the music I think has some very poor effects on black communities especially the youth, but others will say the music became the way it is because of the condition of a large amount of the black communities too begin with.

Alright you have a good point and looking back “COON NIGGERS” was way over the top. Its just that we are promoting the problem when we boast and brag about living a “trap life” that actually takes us nowhere in life. I just don’t want another generation to go follow the same cycle that I fell into and a nice percentage of us African American get sucked into. I know that a guy like Gucci Mane (who I see as being around for at least 4 or 5 more years) is going to do nothing but spill garbage to our kids. I don’t want to witness another generation go through the same bullshit we’ve been in for decades. They are the people with “a voice” in our communities and you think that bragging about crime is going to motivate someone to help us out or give us money? Hell no, we need to help ourselves before anyone else will and what I see in our communities now is only going to get worse for us with people like Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne drug addict asses having "a voice in this world.
